First time w/clones

Post by Purpmonkey »

Today I built an aero cloner bucket:
5 gal bucket
submersible pump
about 3 foot of 1/2 inch PVC
two end caps
6 90 degree elbows
one male threaded female slide end
hand full of ez-sprayer heads
a little PVC glue
primer
holes in the lid for 2" baskets with the bottoms cut off
neoprene collars
viola a cloner.

I put my new cuttings in the cloner one is Harry Skywalker pheno 1 far left, Harry Skywalker pheno 2 far right, red dragon feminized center.

The brew consists of
2 gal R.O.
xtreme azos 1 tbls
rapid start .5

Nice; did you take pictures of the assembly? We can always use more step by step type tutorials too... ;)

No step by step pictures, I just rough cut the PVC and used an exacto to cut the holes in the lid. I will put up a picture of the insides. Hardest part would have been the sprayer heads had I not have had a thread tap. Other than that it's all pretty cut and dry.

Nice...

Make sure that the pressure isn't so high that it hurts the new roots. ;)

very nice. i love DIY.

i'd get a filter bag to protect the pump from anything getting into it and clogging up the sprayers. most aquarium suppliers have them. even some hydro shops

If you click the "place inline" button for your attachments you get rid of that white border/box around the pictures. ;)
