It might thin out in VG or PG (PG is thinner) but it will also dilute it if it works. You might be better off just buying a vape pen that will work for the QWET wax and kief. I'd like to see what's leftover after butane extraction/purge too. I always thought butane was pretty clean and easy to purge.
